As a place where three distinct valleys intersect, this area has no shortage of amazing views to offer. These fun things to do in Dublin, CA are sure to give you picture-worthy memories:

Sunol Wilderness Regional Preserve
Alameda County

While Sunol Wilderness Regional Preserve is a challenging trek, the sights it offers are well worth the effort. Most of the trails are situated on hillsides, giving you a panoramic view of the valley below. There’s a distinct pristine quality to the trail, exemplified by the blanket of wildflowers in the field. It’s also home to a spot called Little Yosemite, a scenic gorge that boasts towering boulders and waterfalls.

Concannon Vineyard
Alameda County

Located at the heart of Livermore Valley Wine Country, Concannon Vineyard is one of the oldest operating vineyards in America. Aside from producing world-renowned wines, it also boasts an exquisitely preserved Victorian house that dates back to the 1800s. When you sign up for a wine-tasting session, you’ll also be given a grand tour of the historic estate, including their vaunted barrel room. We recommend doing your wine tasting at the outdoor pavilion, which offers 360-degree views of the vineyard.

Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area
Alameda County

Pull up a chair and settle in for a morning of fishing at Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area. This former gravel quarry was donated to the City of Pleasanton, which converted it into a 266-acre park. Its signature attraction is an 80-acre lake, which is also a popular swimming spot for locals. The wonderful scenery also makes the lakeside an excellent picnic destination.

Mount Diablo State Park
Contra Costa County

The observation deck at Mount Diablo State Park’s visitor center offers arguably the most stunning views of the Tri-Valley region. On clear days, the visibility can range up to 200 miles, allowing you to spot even faraway landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge. This destination is also an ideal place to go hiking, mountain climbing, and biking. If you prefer something more relaxing, there are also picnic spots that look out into the gorgeous landscape below.

Crow Canyon Country Club
Contra Costa County

The Tri-Valley area is home to several golf ranges, but few can rival the stunning sights at Crow Canyon Country Club. Located at the foothills of Mount Diablo, this golf course gives you a tantalizing view of the mountain’s majestic ridgeline. Not to be outdone, the 18-hole, Ted Robinson-designed golf course is immaculately maintained and is bordered by a forest of trees.
